About Us

The Source is a Cape Town based small batch hot sauce company, founded in 2022, that specializes in making the most flavourful, no-nonsense hot sauces.

The Source’s founder, a qualified chef and chilli lover, started experimenting and making hot sauces in 2020. It wasn’t until he found the perfect combination of flavours, that he brought his sauces to market.

We wanted to make sure we can’t keep our sauces free from any preservatives, additives, colourants, flavourants. sugar, gluten and seed oils, before putting 
it on the shelf. 

So, that’s how it began, looking for a no-nonsense hot sauce full of flavour!
